ProofVault is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice. ProofVault helps merchants improve transaction clarity, evidence capture, customer acknowledgment, and dispute readiness through structured operational systems. Nothing on this platform constitutes legal advice.
What ProofVault Is
ProofVault is transaction assurance infrastructure that helps merchants organize transaction evidence, capture customer acknowledgments, and maintain dispute-ready documentation. We provide tools and systems to improve your operational processes, but we do not provide legal advice or guarantee specific outcomes.
Acceptable Use
You agree to use ProofVault only for lawful business purposes and in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
You must not:
- Use the service for any illegal or fraudulent activities
- Upload content that violates third-party rights or applicable laws
- Attempt to interfere with the service's operation or security
- Use automated systems to access the service in ways that exceed reasonable usage
- Share your account credentials or allow unauthorized access
Subscription Terms
Monthly and Annual Plans
Subscriptions are available on monthly or annual billing cycles. Annual plans are billed upfront and offer discounted rates.
Auto-Renewal
Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled. You can cancel anytime through your account settings.
Cancellation
Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period. No refunds for partial periods. Annual plans cancelled mid-term continue until the annual period ends.
Payment Terms
Subscription Plans
Charges are based on your selected subscription tier and usage limits. All fees are billed in advance.
Overages
If you exceed your plan limits, additional charges apply at the rates specified in your plan. Overage charges are billed monthly.
Non-Expiring Packs
Some plans include transaction packs that do not expire. These remain available as long as your account is active.
Payment Processing
All payments are processed through secure third-party payment providers. We do not store complete payment card information.
Data Ownership
You retain full ownership of all data you upload to ProofVault. We process your data solely to provide our services and do not claim any ownership rights. You can export your data at any time and we will assist with data portability upon request.
Limitation of Liability
ProofVault provides tools to improve your transaction processes and dispute readiness, but we cannot guarantee specific outcomes in disputes or legal proceedings. Our liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding any claim.
We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including lost profits or business opportunities.
Dispute Resolution
Any disputes arising from these terms will be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with commercial arbitration rules. The arbitration will take place in the jurisdiction of our principal place of business.
Modifications to Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or through the platform. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
